Disclaimer on Aid Delivery
Human Appeal acknowledges the significant challenges in delivering aid to Gaza due to external factors, including ongoing border closures, security concerns, and restrictions imposed by occupying forces. Despite these obstacles, we are committed to responding swiftly and decisively. When opportunities arise—such as temporary openings of border crossings—we act immediately to send in excess supplies. In addition, we work closely with local partners and suppliers within Gaza to ensure that essential goods and services are sourced internally whenever possible. This dual strategy helps us maintain a steady flow of aid, support livelihoods, and reinforce resilience on the ground.
Poultry Project – Ali’s Story
“My name is Ali Al-Daroubia. I am 50 years old from Ihsim village in southern rural Idlib. I live with my family of nine. We were displaced by shelling and lived in camps in northern Syria for four years. When we returned, we found our home destroyed and were forced to move to a poultry farm three kilometers away from the village. Because of the distance, my children were unable to attend school. Through Human Appeal’s livestock support project, I received poultry feed and chicks. Today, I have a stable income that allows me to meet my family’s needs and provide them with a dignified life.”
Fatima’s Story
Fatima Musab Khalfiya was born into extraordinary circumstances after her family was displaced to camps in Sarmada, northern Idlib.
She began her life in a tent with her parents and four siblings after fleeing rural Saraqib three years earlier.
When Fatima was six months old, her mother noticed her health deteriorating but did not realize she was suffering from severe acute malnutrition.
Human Appeal’s field team identified her condition during a routine visit and immediately referred her to Al Imaan Hospital.
Fatima received comprehensive medical care, therapeutic milk, nutritional supplements, and regular follow-up visits. After three months of treatment, she made a full recovery. Her family was overjoyed to see their daughter regain her health and smile once again.
