We have restored three schools in rural Aleppo to make them fit to receive students. The restorations included repairs such as:

Back to School

Al Zohoor Health Center

Established by Human Appeal in Al Zohoor village, the center serves hundreds of beneficiaries from the village and surrounding camps.
The center includes several key departments:

The center is particularly important due to the scarcity of free clinics in the region.

It includes a psychosocial support clinic that provides awareness sessions and basic psychological support services for women and children.

The center serves more than 200 patients daily, making it a vital resource providing free healthcare available seven days a week.

Al Imaan Hospital

Our medical team at Al Imaan Hospital, in the northern Syrian city of Sarmada, has been serving displaced people and the local community since 2014, in the most populous area for displaced people in northern Syria.

The hospital offers a diverse set of services, including:

Demand for the hospital’s services continues to grow amid widespread damage to Syria’s healthcare system after years of conflict. Thousands of patients rely on the hospital because they cannot afford the cost of medical treatment elsewhere.

Between October 2023 and March 2024, 62,697 people were provided with medical care, and 5,546 babies were safely delivered through both natural and caesarean births at the hospital. Support for these services remains ongoing.

Disclaimer on Aid Delivery

Human Appeal acknowledges the significant challenges in delivering aid to Gaza due to external factors, including ongoing border closures, security concerns, and restrictions imposed by occupying forces. Despite these obstacles, we are committed to responding swiftly and decisively. When opportunities arise—such as temporary openings of border crossings—we act immediately to send in excess supplies. In addition, we work closely with local partners and suppliers within Gaza to ensure that essential goods and services are sourced internally whenever possible. This dual strategy helps us maintain a steady flow of aid, support livelihoods, and reinforce resilience on the ground.
